The handover of Teaching Assistance students at SMPN 27 Banjarmasin was carried out on January 22, 2026. The activity involved students from the Department of Social Science Education and was officially accompanied by the Field Coordinator Lecturer, Rusmaniah, S.Pd., M.Pd., who also serves as the academic supervisor for the Teaching Assistance Program for Social Science Education students. In addition to students from Social Science Education, the program also involved 14 students from other departments, including Civic Education (PPKn), Mathematics Education, Performing Arts Education, and Educational Technology.
The event took place in the Science Laboratory Room from 09:00 to 10:30 WITA. The ceremony began with opening remarks by Helen Dhea Safitri as the Master of Ceremony, followed by a prayer led by Agisna Rahman and the singing of the national anthem, Indonesia Raya. The program continued with remarks from Muhammad Arifin, Chairperson of the Teaching Assistance Student Group at SMPN 27 Banjarmasin, followed by a welcome address from the Principal of SMPN 27 Banjarmasin, Hj. Arbainah, M.Pd.
Subsequently, remarks were delivered by Rusmaniah, S.Pd., M.Pd. as the Field Coordinator Lecturer. This session was accompanied by a symbolic handover ceremony, in which two representatives of the Teaching Assistance students were formally handed over by Rusmaniah, S.Pd., M.Pd. together with the school principal, Hj. Arbainah, M.Pd.
The activity then continued with a briefing session delivered by Anida Febriana, S.Pd., Vice Principal for Curriculum Affairs. The briefing covered school regulations, daily academic activities, and was followed by the introduction of supervising teachers as well as the Teaching Assistance students. The ceremony concluded with a group photo session involving the Teaching Assistance students, the Field Coordinator Lecturer, the Vice Principal for Curriculum Affairs, the Principal, and supervising teachers as documentation of the activity and a symbol of collaboration.
After the formal handover ceremony, Anida Febriana, S.Pd., provided further directions regarding student placement within the school. Students from Social Science Education, Performing Arts Education, and Educational Technology were assigned to the school library, while students from Mathematics Education and Civic Education (PPKn) were placed in the Student Council (OSIS) office.
Following the placement briefing, the students met with their supervising teachers in the teachers’ room. During this meeting, students discussed preparations needed for teaching activities and inquired about their teaching schedules to ensure readiness in carrying out their responsibilities effectively.
