Banjarmasin, February 12–13, 2026 — The Department of Social Science Education, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP), Universitas Lambung Mangkurat (ULM), proudly welcomed the ACQUIN Team (Accreditation, Certification, and Quality Assurance Institute) for the International Accreditation Field Assessment Visit held on February 12–13, 2026.
The visit marked an important milestone in the department’s ongoing commitment to strengthening academic quality, institutional governance, and international recognition. The field assessment was conducted as part of the international accreditation process, aimed at evaluating academic standards, curriculum implementation, research productivity, community engagement, student services, and internal quality assurance systems.
Throughout the two-day visit, the ACQUIN assessors engaged in a series of structured activities, including meetings with university leaders, faculty members, students, alumni, and stakeholders. The assessment also involved document verification, academic discussions, and direct observations of facilities and learning environments within the department.
The presence of the ACQUIN Team reflects the department’s dedication to continuous quality improvement and its readiness to meet international standards in higher education. This field assessment visit is expected to further enhance the global competitiveness and academic reputation of the Department of Social Science Education FKIP ULM.
