Banjarmasin, 14,17, 18 February 2025 – The Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) at Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) recently organized a Mendeley training session aimed at equipping Social Sciences students with essential reference management skills for academic research. This initiative reflects FKIP ULM’s commitment to enhancing students’ research capabilities by introducing them to Mendeley, a powerful software tool designed to streamline reference management and citation formatting.
Mendeley is widely recognized as an indispensable tool for researchers and students alike, facilitating the organization, storage, and retrieval of scholarly references. The training session was structured to ensure students gain hands-on experience with Mendeley’s core functionalities, including:

Creation and Management of Reference Collections – Participants learned how to import, store, and systematically organize references from journal articles, books, and other academic sources.

Automatic Citation and Bibliography Compilation – The session guided students on generating citations and compiling bibliographies effortlessly using various academic writing styles such as APA, MLA, and Chicago.
