School Administrative Management Must Be Understood by Prospective Educators

Banjarmasin, January 9, 2026 — Students participating in the Teaching Assistantship Program of the Department of Social Science Education, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP), Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM), received a briefing on School Administrative Management held in Room 39, FKIP ULM. This session was designed to broaden students’ insights into school governance and administrative systems.

The material was delivered by Sigit Triyono, S.Pd., M.Pd., who explained that school administrative management encompasses the management of various essential components within a school. These components include the organization of human resources, curriculum development, management of facilities and infrastructure, as well as school financial administration.

He also elaborated on the core functions of administrative management and highlighted the role of the school principal as a leader responsible for coordinating all school activities. Through this session, students were expected to understand that a school’s success is determined not only by the teaching and learning process in the classroom, but also by a well-organized and effective administrative system.
