Banjarmasin, November 25, 2025 — The Department of Social Science Education, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP), Universitas Lambung Mangkurat (ULM), proudly extends its highest appreciation to all teachers across Indonesia in celebration of National Teachers’ Day 2025. The Head of the Department of Social Science Education emphasized that teachers are the foundation of national civilization.
“Teaching is not merely a profession; it is an enduring devotion. With unwavering dedication, teachers illuminate the path for millions of students, helping them discover their aspirations, potential, and identity,” he stated.
He further noted that the world of education is currently navigating rapid technological advancements, shifting social dynamics, and global challenges. Even so, Indonesian teachers continue to demonstrate resilience and innovation in their efforts to deliver meaningful and transformative learning experiences.
As an academic institution committed to preparing future educators, the Department of Social Science Education consistently strives to produce graduates who are humanistic, competent, adaptive, and socially responsible. By integrating ethnopedagogical approaches, strengthening social science perspectives, and nurturing national values, the department ensures that its graduates are ready to become agents of positive change in society.
In conjunction with National Teachers’ Day, the department also expresses appreciation to all lecturers within the academic community.
