ULM Social Science Education Students Class of 2022 Conduct Field Practice in Malang – Day 2

Malang, September 26, 2025 – On the second day of the Field Practice (PKL) program, students of the Social Science Education Study Program, Universitas Lambung Mangkurat (ULM), Class of 2022, began their Friday agenda with breakfast at the hotel at 06.00 WIB.

At 07.00 WIB, the group departed for Mount Bromo, one of East Java’s most renowned tourist attractions. They arrived at the basecamp at 08.00 WIB to prepare for the climb, including renting jackets and other necessities. At 09.00 WIB, the group continued the journey by Jeep to the peak of Bromo. The students thoroughly enjoyed the breathtaking scenery of Mount Bromo before leaving the area at 14.00 WIB.

The next destination was Jatim Park 3 in Batu, a popular educational theme park. The visit took place from 16.00 to 18.00 WIB, offering both recreational and educational experiences. Afterward, the group had dinner at Royal Resto at 19.00 WIB.

The second day concluded with a shopping trip at Royal Ole-Ole, located in front of Jatim Park 3. The souvenir center offers a wide selection of Batu’s specialties, including assorted traditional cakes, sponge cakes, and chips on the first floor, as well as handicrafts, accessories, and traditional clothing (daster) on the second floor. After completing their shopping, the group returned to the hotel to rest at 21.00 WIB.
