Malang, September 25, 2025 – Students of the Social Science Education Study Program, Universitas Lambung Mangkurat (ULM), Class of 2022, together with their supervising lecturers, carried out a Field Practice (PKL) program in Malang, East Java. The three-day activity, held from September 25 to 27, 2025, featured a series of academic agendas and educational tours at various locations.
The first day began on Thursday, September 25, 2025, at 04.00 WITA with a meeting point at Syamsudin Noor Airport in Banjarmasin. After check-in and boarding procedures, the group departed at 06.00 WITA and arrived at Juanda Airport, Surabaya, at around 08.00 WIB. At 09.00 WIB, the journey continued by bus to Malang City.
The main academic destination was Universitas Negeri Malang (UM). At the campus, ULM Social Science Education students had the opportunity to engage in discussions and build connections with UM Social Science students. The session was lively and productive, with exchanges on academic topics and cultural insights from their respective regions. This academic activity concluded at 15.00 WIB.
Afterward, the group had lunch at Warung Kasemo “PAN JAVA” at 15.30 WIB before heading to Malang Night Paradise from 16.30 to 18.30 WIB. The attraction offered a variety of exciting rides and a stunning display of LED garden lights and lantern parks, creating a memorable experience for the students.
The first day ended with a buffet dinner at Royal Resto at 19.00 WIB, followed by hotel check-in at 20.00 WIB, giving participants time to rest and prepare for the next day’s agenda.
