The Social Sciences Education Study Program of FKIP ULM successfully held the inauguration of the Social Sciences Education Student Association (HIMA PIPS) FKIP ULM for the 2025–2026 period on Friday, January 31, 2025. The event carried the theme “Together in Realizing an Active, Proactive, and Responsible HIMA PIPS FKIP ULM with High Solidarity and Cooperation within the Association.” The inauguration took place in the Ki Hadjar Dewantara Room, FKIP ULM.

The 2024–2025 HIMA PIPS leadership term has officially ended after a year of implementing various programs. Now, the leadership baton has been passed on to the new board, who will continue the journey of HIMA PIPS towards a better direction while upholding the values of solidarity, cooperation, and responsibility. The 2025–2026 HIMA PIPS leadership consists of students from the 2023 and 2024 cohorts, who are ready to carry out their duties and advance the organization. This inauguration marks the first step in realizing a better vision and mission for HIMA PIPS in the future.

Following the official opening of the event, the ceremony continued with the reading of the oath and pledge, led by Mr. Syarifuddin, S.Pd., M.Pd., as the Student Affairs Advisor of HIMA PIPS FKIP ULM. All newly inaugurated members earnestly declared their readiness to take on their responsibilities in this new leadership period. With the recitation of the oath and pledge, the 2025–2026 HIMA PIPS FKIP ULM leadership was officially inaugurated on January 31, 2025.

The Chairperson of HIMA PIPS FKIP ULM for the 2024–2025 period, Nurlela Sari, expressed her hopes, “I hope that HIMA PIPS FKIP ULM for the 2025–2026 period can carry out its vision and mission even better than the previous period.” Meanwhile, the newly appointed Chairperson of HIMA PIPS for the 2025–2026 period, Abdul Ghoni, also shared his aspirations, “I want to continue what the previous leadership has built. With the ideas I bring, I hope to make HIMA PIPS grow and develop even further.”

With enthusiasm and commitment to implementing its vision and mission better than the previous period, it is expected that HIMA PIPS FKIP ULM will continue to grow and make a positive impact on students and the surrounding environment. Hopefully, this new leadership can achieve its goals and bring positive changes to all HIMA members and Social Sciences Education students at FKIP ULM.

The inauguration ceremony of HIMA PIPS FKIP ULM for the 2025–2026 period was also attended by representatives from other study program student associations and Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) student activity units (UKM). The presence of representatives from various organizations reflects strong support and solidarity among student organizations at Universitas Lambung Mangkurat.

This moment highlights the importance of inter-organizational cooperation in strengthening relationships among members, supporting joint activities, and expanding collaboration networks within the campus, especially at FKIP ULM. Through strong collaboration between student organizations, it is hoped that a more harmonious campus environment can be created, fostering student development and strengthening HIMA’s role in shaping high-quality academic generations.
